Pilates for Cyclists
At our neighbors Conscious Movement, Ziel members will enjoy services tailored to their needs at a special Ziel CC price.
Pilates is a beneficial cross training method for cyclists. This whole-body routine works to balance the body and promote functional movement. Strength, flexibility and mobility are a focus in each session. Proper spinal and pelvic alignment are a key focus, which can aim cyclists tremendously.
Additionally, Pilates can benefit:
- Core stability
- Hip flexibility
- Proper postural alignment
- Injury prevention
- Pedal stroke efficiency
Classes will be designed for the cyclist body, appropriate for all levels.
Exercises will be done on the Pilates mat, reformer, tower and/or chair equipment.
